Wastewater treatment

Swing Shanghai has a wealth of experience and diversity of technology in wastewater treatment. All kinds of wastewater can be treated, such as food, beverage waste, chemical industry waste, pharmaceutical waste, electronic waste, sanitation wastewater (leachate), livestock and poultry slaughterhouse wastewater, papermaking wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater and general domestic wastewater.
Swing Shanghai has many achievements in technologies ranging from biochemical to physical and chemical methods, so that wastewater can be recycled and reused after treatment.

Semiconductor Industry Wastewater (1)

Project Description:
A semiconductor factory,Scale: 16800 m3/d
Water quality: Tertiary Discharge Standard
Project Characteristics: This project involves multiple categories including grinding wastewater, fluoride-containing wastewater, acid-alkali wastewater, and organic wastewater, which are treated separately to ensure stable Water quality.

Electronic PCB Industry Wastewater (3)

Project Description:
A certain electronic factory
Scale: 8500 m3/d
Water quality: COD <60 mg/L, Cu <0.4 mg/L, Ni <1 mg/L
Project Characteristics: High COD content and high levels of heavy metal ions such as Cu and Ni in wastewater, predominantly in complexed forms.

Pharmaceutical Industry Wastewater (4)

Project Description:
A certain pharmaceutical and chemical factory
Treatment capacity: 700 m3 / day.
Wastewater characteristics: complex composition (contains synthetic components of multiple drugs); high concentration (COD, NH3-N, etc.); unstable water quality.
Results: CODcr <100mg/L. BOD5 <50 mg/L.

Fine Chemical Industry Wastewater(5)

Project Description:
An ink chemical wasterwater case
Scale: 40 m3/d
Water quality: COD <300 mg/L
Project Characteristics: High ink concentration and strong chroma in wastewater, with COD > 3000 mg/L. Physicochemical + biological + MBR processes are adopted, with effluent COD < 300 mg/L.

Municipal Wastewater (6)

Project Description:
A municipal sewage treatment plant
Scale: 600000 m3/d
Project Characteristics: Primarily urban domestic sewage with large treatment capacity. The effluent is required to meet Grade 1A standards.  The A2/O process is employed to achieve compliance.

Food and Beverage Industry Wastewater(7)

Project Description:
A certain beer and beverage factory
Scale: 7000 m3/d
Project Characteristics: As the treatment target is primarily wastewater generated during beer production, which features large flow scale and high biodegradability, the aerobic activated sludge process is adopted.

Actual image:

Paper Industry Wastewater(8)

Project Description:
A certain paper mill
Scale: 9000 m3/d
Water quality: Meeting the third-level discharge standard
Project Characteristics: Paper wastewater features high COD, elevated lignin and hemicellulose content, and contains numerous hard-to-degrade substances

Actual image:

Landfill leachate (9)

Project Description:
A landfill site
Scale: 275 m3/d
Water quality: Tertiary Discharge Standard
Project Characteristics: As the wastewater features high COD, high ammonia nitrogen, and poor biodegradability, a combined biological + RO process is adopted.
