RO System
Summary
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a membrane separation technology in which a pressure difference is used as a driving force to separate a solvent from a solution. When pressure is applied to the solution on one side of the reverse osmosis membrane and exceeds its osmotic pressure, the solvent permeates to the other side of the membrane in the reverse direction of natural osmosis, thus achieving the purpose of separation. It is called reverse osmosis because it is in the opposite direction of natural osmosis.
Characteristic
Mainly used for water desalination, but also most of organic matter and other particles in water will be intercepted. Reverse osmosis has strict requirements for water intake, so it has high requirements for operation management.
Usage
It is widely used in ultra-pure water, desalination, drinking water, water reuse, seawater desalination and other occasions.
