UF System
Summary
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane separation technology with a porous asymmetric membrane structure. The filtration process is driven by the pressure difference between the two sides of the membrane and is a solution separation process based on the principle of mechanical screening.
Characteristic
Ultrafiltration usually can intercept more than 0.005~0.1 micron impurities, can remove particles, colloids, bacteria and macromolecular organics from water, and reduce the turbidity of water.
Usage
It is commonly used in the pretreatment of reverse osmosis, the whole membrane treatment of pure water, reclaimed water reuse and other occasions. It can also be directly used in direct drinking water and improving the quality of urban water supply.
