Product Introduction – Purified Water Products
Multi-media Filter (MMF)
Overview
The core pretreatment unit in purified water preparation systems. It is a water treatment equipment that achieves efficient physical filtration through a combination of multiple layers of different media, primarily used to remove impurities such as suspended solids, colloids, and organic matter from water.
Features
Complementary effects of multiple media layers: Quartz sand intercepts large suspended particles, while anthracite adsorbs colloids.
Fully automated backwashing supported: Efficiently removes contaminants from the filter media through combined air-water backwashing, preventing compaction and extending the service life of the filter media.
Being capable of treating various water sources including surface water, groundwater, and industrial circulating water, with a tolerance for influent turbidity ≤5 NTU and an operating temperature range of 5–50°C.
Usage
Protection of reverse osmosis (RO) systems: Ensures influent SDI ≤5 and low organic content, preventing membrane oxidation and fouling. Provides qualified feed water for advanced treatment units such as EDI.
