Summary
EDI, also known as Electrodeionization, is a process to that uses ion-selective membranes to separate and exchange ions in pure water through the combined effect of electric field and ion exchange to further improve the quality of pure water. The resistivity of EDI effluent is usually not less than 16 m Ω * cm.
