Product Introduction – Ultrapure Water Products
Activated carbon (AC)
Summary
The core unit of ultra pure water pretreatment utilizes the high specific surface area and adsorption capacity of activated carbon to mainly remove residual chlorine/oxidants and organic matter from raw water, and protect subsequent precision treatment equipment (RO membrane, EDI/mixed bed).
Specialty
Core chlorine removal protective film: Strong removal of residual chlorine and other oxidants, absolutely preventing oxidative degradation of RO membrane and resin.
Efficient reduction of organic matter/TOC: Deeply adsorbs soluble organic matter, significantly reducing the influent TOC load.
Protecting downstream equipment: reducing organic fouling and blockage of RO membranes, extending the lifespan of EDI/mixed beds, and lowering maintenance costs.
Purpose
Protect reverse osmosis (RO) system: Ensure that the incoming water is free of oxidants and low in organic matter, preventing membrane oxidation and fouling.
Protection of Electrodeionization (EDI)/Mixed Bed: Provides low oxidant and low organic matter influent to ensure stable and compliant water resistance of the produced water.
Ensuring that the final ultrapure water meets the TOC standard is a key pre-treatment step to meet the extremely low TOC requirements.
